Description
The SM-BCR2 charger is compatible with SMBTR2, BTDN1101, BTDN110A1 batteries. It is designed to charge SHIMANO DI2 internal batteries, and also serves as a PC interface for E-TUBE PROJECT firmware updates and settings.

- Do not let the charger get wet or use it when it is wet; do not touch or hold it with wet hands. Failure to do so may result in operational problems or electric shock.
- Do not cover the charger with a cloth or other similar material during use. Failure to do so may result in heat build-up, cabinet deformation, fire, or overheating.
- Do not disassemble or modify the charger. Failure to do so may result in electric shock or injury.
- Use an AC adapter with a USB port rated at 5.0 V DC and a current rating of at least 1.0 A DC. If you use an adapter rated at less than 1.0 A DC, the AC adapter may become hot and may cause fire, smoke, overheating, damage, electric shock, or burns.
WARNING
- Do not use any other USB cable, but use only the USB cable supplied with the device to connect to a PC. Charging failure, fire, or failure of the connected PC due to heating may occur.
- When connecting or disconnecting the USB cable or charging cable, always hold the cable plug. Failure to do so may result in fire or electric shock. If the following symptoms occur, stop using the device and contact your dealer. Fire or electric shock may occur.
- If there is pungent smoke coming from the power plug or the plug becomes hot, there may be a poor connection inside the power plug.
- If there is thunder while charging with the AC adapter and USB port, do not touch the device, bicycle, or AC adapter. If lightning strikes, you may receive an electric shock.
- Use an AC adapter with a USB port with a voltage of 5.0 V DC and a current of at least 1.0 A DC. If an AC adapter with a current of less than 1.0A DC is used, charging may fail or the AC adapter may overheat, resulting in a fire.
- Do not use a USB hub to connect the cable to the USB port of the PC. Charging may fail or a fire may occur due to overheating.
- Be careful not to damage the charging cable. (Do not damage, modify, forcibly bend, twist or stretch them, place them near hot objects, place heavy objects on them, or tie them tightly together.) If used in a damaged condition, it may cause fire, electric shock, or short circuit.
- After reading the instruction manual thoroughly, keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
CAUTION
- Disconnect the USB cable or charging cable when performing maintenance.
