The Schwalbe Racing Ray is a front XC tire developed specifically for modern cross-country trails, where precise steering response and confidence in fast and technical sections are key. According to Schwalbe, it has a completely new, aggressive XC tread pattern with offset center blocks that improve directional stability, braking traction and track accuracy. Prominent shoulder blocks provide high support in leans and confidence in fast banked turns. The Racing Ray uses the ADDIX SpeedGrip compound, which combines speed, grip and durability, and the tire is available in Super Race and Super Ground constructions for different levels of speed, flexibility and protection.

The tire is optimized for the front wheel, where it offers the ideal balance between control, braking power and stability. The open tread pattern improves self-cleaning in wet and loose conditions, while the almost continuous center belt ensures quiet operation and low rolling resistance. The Racing Ray is foldable (Kevlar bead), Tubeless Easy (TLE) and available in EVO quality with a carcass density of 67 TPI.
