Description
The Schwalbe CX Comp is an affordable, fast-rolling semi-slick tire that combines smooth ride on asphalt with good support in light terrain. According to Schwalbe, it is an ENTRY RANGE all-terrain tire, suitable for road, gravel and trekking bikes where the rider needs versatile performance without unnecessary weight.
The central part of the tread is smoother for speed, while the side knobs provide confidence in cornering and braking on gravel or paved surfaces. The tire uses SBC (Schwalbe Basic Compound) and K-Guard protection, which increases its puncture resistance.
The CX Comp is available in a wide range of sizes – from 20" to 28"/29" – and is available in a 50 TPI clincher. Weights range from approximately 425–620 g depending on size.
