The type of data available varies depending on the type of trainer:
- On trainers that do not change resistance levels: the sensor records speed, power and cadence data.
- On trainers with variable resistance: the sensor records speed and cadence data.
- Note: My E-Training software records power data for all types of ELITE trainers.
- Devices must be compatible with the “ANT+ speed & cadence” protocol for speed and/or cadence data to be recorded by ANT+ cycle computers or GPS devices.
- To record power data, the GPS device or cycle computer must support the “ANT+ Power” protocol.
- A list of devices compatible with one or more of these protocols is available on the ANT+ website.
- To record speed and/or cadence data with a GPS device or cycle computer with Bluetooth Smart Ready, the device must be compatible with the "Speed ??& Cadence" profile for the Bluetooth Smart protocol. To display performance data, the cycling computer must be Bluetooth Smart Ready or the GPS device must be compatible with the "ANT + Power" profile for the Bluetooth Smart protocol.
The Misuro B+ works best when used in combination with the My E-Training app, which was developed for smartphones and tablets, but can also be used with other apps compatible with the Bluetooth Smart and/or ANT+ protocol. In addition, there are many current ANT+ compatible bike computers / apps / GPS devices that can capture data from the Misuro B+ without using a specific app.
- The sensor is installed directly on your trainer, making it easy to attach and remove the bike.
